Our Classes
For over 30 years our aim has been to help young people aged 4+ to develop:
Enthusiasm | Confidence | Self esteem | Conversational ability | Social skills
These aims are achieved through a developed drama program. Including speech, verbal dynamics, creative movement, mime, structured and free improvisation, dialogue, development, snippets, scene starters, poems, mini-scripts, parent evenings, following instructions, memory skills and vocalizing thoughts and emotions.​
Spolin
5 - 7 years
Drama is a more direct form of play.
If play is a happy and effective way to learn, then drama must be too! Classes help children develop their imaginations, organizing abilities, confidence, reading abilities, language, listening, and taking turns. Drama presents many different situations, stories, and ideas. Classes are fun and creative.

Drama is where children have ample opportunities to practice listening and speaking, making suggestions, giving opinions, spontaneous ad-lib skills and
resolving conflict through role playing.
Speech work is an important part of classes, as they use jaw, lip and tongue exercises to develop good articulation. Students are given the foundation skills to create a character with script or improvisation using the art of story telling. They will learn how to give prepared speeches and be introduced to the performing arts where each class or individual set goals for performance.

Age 13+
Our classes offer further opportunities to students with a continued interest in theatre. They learn more about the technical side of drama and theatre, while at the same time allowing voice work, improvisation, theatre games and mini script work to continue their personal growth, both as an actor and individual, with the confidence to be an articulate and expressive speaker.

Senior Film Production
Age 13+
Learn what it takes to act in front of a camera. This class allows students to learn acting techniques, develop monologues and create short films. Write Screenplays, develop camera skills, design and construct costumes, props amd sets. OnSet will provide the platform into the world of film and television and the opportunity to learn new skills (eg. combat)

Mixed Ages
Taking the skills of Drama, improvisation, Speech, and the world of make believe
that step further. The opportunity for all ages to work and learn from each other has proved a great class also for the shy child to allow others to show them the way and find individual and group self esteem.
